The board of secondary and intermediate education of Gujranwala is responsible for conducting examinations and preparing results of Gujranwala city and its jurisdiction areas such as: Gujranwala District, Gujrat District, Mandi Bahauddin District, Hafizabad District, Narowal District and Sialkot District. It was established in 1976. The BISE Board Gujranwala has legislative authority to organize, develop, reform, review, plan and cancel educational policies of its affiliated institutes.
The BISE Board Gujranwala is one of the oldest boards of Pakistan. Having established 42 years ago, it has performed its responsibilities and functions with utter dedication and honesty. Every year hundreds and thousands of matriculation students appear in examinations of board. The percentage of students increases the next year. It has been conducting impartial and fair examinations.
