The Board of Intermediate and Secondary education, Federal is the federally government body for intermediate and secondary education in Pakistan and Abroad. Its head office is located in Islamabad. The Federal Board of Matriculation and Intermediate was established under the FBISE act 1975 by body of ministry “Federal Education and Professional Training Division".

The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Federal Board could be established for covering and managing exams for Affiliate institutions SSC and HSSC education within Pakistan and Abroad. Prescribe courses of instructions for SSC and HSSC. Ensure Provision of requisites facilities in the affiliated institutions. Hold exams, appointed examiners and supervising staff for batter education. Institutes measures to promote physical well-being students for batter education across Pakistan and also abroad for overseas Pakistanis.
